Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis at DriveCentric. Reporting directly to our CFO, you will play a critical role in helping DriveCentric achieve its growth and financial objectives. This is a highly visible role that partners closely with senior leaders across all functions within DriveCentric - including Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Operations - to drive decision-making with data and financial insights.

Job Duties

• Responsible for organizational budgets and processes for planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting
• Develops key performance indicators measuring the financial health of the organization or assigned units or functions
• Implement best practices in financial planning and analysis
• Reviews past and current financial performance against budgeted estimates, and develops models that assist management in understanding the financial impact of business decisions
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support executive leadership and board-level decisions
• Ensure that financial reports are accurate, timely, and compliant with accounting standards and regulations
• Collaborate with Accounting to execute accurate and timely close and financial reporting
• Solid understanding of GAAP and ability to assist, create, and/or maintain reconciliations and accruals
• Experience working with companies that have contracted recurring revenue and understanding how to analyze multiple levels of retention, churn, etc.

Experience and Education

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred
• 8+ years of progressive finance experience
• Strong modeling, forecasting, and financial storytelling skills
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to translate complexity into clarity
• Experience working directly with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (MS Dynamics, QuickBooks, Oracle, Sage, etc.)
