Job summary

CJGeo, a Virginia-based specialty grouting and lightweight fill contractor, is seeking a Director of Finance to run day-to-day accounting and build systems from the ground up in Williamsburg. You will own job costing, WIP, AIA billing, cash and treasury, forecasting, and lender relationships, while mentoring a growing accounting team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in accounting and finance with deep command of job costing, WIP, percent-complete, AIA and progress billing.
• Hands-on ERP ownership experience, treasury, banking, covenant, bonding, and lender reporting.
• Proven track record of building or cleaning up a finance function and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close, financial statements, and accurate job costing and WIP reporting.
• Build out Foundation ERP for estimated-versus-actual, percent-complete, and AIA billing.
• Fix change-order workflow and bridge project management with accounting.
• Lead cash flow forecasting, manage credit relationships, and insure timely lender reporting.
• Own HR interim duties, policies, and compliance as needed.
