Staffing Solutions Enterprises is seeking a Director of Finance for a high-growth PE-backed industrial company. You will shape financial strategy, lead FP&A, and own models for acquisitions and capex, reporting to the CFO and collaborating with the CEO and board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree or CFA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate finance, or a PE-backed company.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis.
• Strong aptitude for building and maintaining financial models supporting acquisitions, capex, and operational efficiencies.
• Excellent communication skills with high emotional intelligence; present data clearly.

Join a Dynamic and Influential Leadership Team as our next Director of Finance and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of a high-growth, private equity-backed industrial company. This is more than just a leadership position—it's your opportunity to lead financial strategy, drive key initiatives, and influence decision-making at a company renowned for rapid delivery and strong OEM partnerships within the energy distribution sector. You’ll work directly with the Chief Financial Officer and have exposure to the CEO, board, and investment partners, positioning yourself for broader financial leadership as the organization continues to scale.

We're seeking a highly strategic, collaborative, and forward-thinking finance professional with a deep understanding of financial planning and analysis, capital markets, M&A, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical excellence, business acumen, and exceptional communication skills—someone who can own complex financial models, craft compelling narratives, and partner effectively across teams to unlock business opportunities.
Location: Cleveland or Pittsburgh areas, commutable to Sharon, PA
Salary: $160 - $190K base plus bonus

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with high emotional intelligence, able to present complex data clearly and confidently.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity with agility and focus on deliverables.

Nice-to-Have Skills & Experiences

• Experience in the energy, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.
• Knowledge of supply chain, inventory management, or capital expenditure planning.
• Experience supporting M&A due diligence and integration.
• Prior exposure working with private equity sponsors or investment partners.

Preferred Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting is required; an advanced degree such as an MBA or professional certifications (CFA, CPA) are highly valued.
• At least 5 years’ experience in financial leadership roles, especially within high-growth or PE-backed companies.

Additional Requirements

• Hybrid work arrangement, with preference given to candidates in the greater Pittsburgh, PA, or Cleveland, OH, areas; candidates in other major markets with exceptional credentials may be considered.
• Willingness to travel regionally for site visits and meetings.
• Experience with lender reporting, covenant compliance, and investor communications.
