Corporate Ladder Search Partners, Inc. is seeking a Director of Finance for a PE-backed manufacturing company in the Greater Cleveland area.

You will lead financial reporting, controllership, and the ERP rollout as the organization grows through acquisitions, using financial insight to influence strategic decisions. Reporting to the CFO, you will build scalable processes, harmonize accounting practices across acquired businesses, and develop KPIs while building a strong finance team that

Qualifications

• 10+ years in finance/accounting with 3+ years in senior leadership.
• Experience in manufacturing, ideally PE-backed.
• Broad, hands-on responsibility in a similarly sized organization.
• Strong controllership, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• M&A due diligence and/or post-acquisition integration experience.
• ERP implementation experience—SAP/S4HANA strongly preferred.
• Develop meaningful KPIs and translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the CFO, the Director of Finance will have broad responsibility across financial reporting and analysis, controllership, ERP implementation and M&A integration.

You will be expected to move beyond simply reporting the numbers—to understand the business drivers behind them and use financial insight to influence decisions.

As the company grows through acquisition, you will help establish scalable processes, integrate newly acquired businesses, harmonize accounting and reporting practices, and ensure leadership has the information needed to make sound business decisions.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

• 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including 3+ years in a senior finance leadership role
• Experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally with a private equity-backed company
• Experience in a comparably sized organization where you have had broad, hands-on responsibility
• Strong controllership, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience
• Experience with M&A due diligence and/or post-acquisition integration
• Hands-on experience with an ERP implementation—SAP/S4HANA strongly preferred
• The ability to develop meaningful KPIs and translate financial data into actionable business insights
• Strong executive presence and the ability to influence across functions
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
