Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in Mooresville, NC, seeks a seasoned Director of Field Associate Learning to design and lead comprehensive learning programs for field roles and SSC merchants.

You will partner with HR and business leaders to identify needs, develop solutions, and drive outcomes that align with Lowe’s strategic priorities. The role leads a team of learning professionals, coordinating across field and corporate functions to ensure programs meet objectives and deliver measurable business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in OD, Instructional Design, Learning, Leadership, Psychology, or related field or equivalent experience
• 10 years in training delivery and/or instructional design for large multi-state/global COE
• 10 years in HR talent management with cross-functional exposure
• 8 years managing multiple priorities & projects under time, budget, and political pressure
• 6 years leading and mentoring teams to create a great place to work
• Experience with an ERP system (Workday preferred)

Responsibilities

• Oversees design and development of curriculum and training delivery methods for field and merchant associates
• Identifies development areas with stakeholders and provides solutions through rotations and mobility opportunities
• Manages external training vendors and industry partnerships to support critical skill learning
• Partners with leaders to measure outcomes and effectiveness of training strategies
• Develops relationships with HRBP and business leaders to close knowledge gaps and gather content for curricula
