The primary purpose of this role is to design and develop learning programs for all Field roles (Lowe’s stores, supply chain and distribution centers, merchandising and contact centers) as well as Store Support Center (SSC) merchants. The Director of Field Associate Learning collaborates with business and HR leadership to identify talent development needs, priorities and necessary outcomes to directly impact rapidly evolving business priorities and objectives. It is pivotal that this role is able to quickly recognize where the gaps and development needs lie so they may provide the appropriate learning solutions enabling the associates to succeed. This role is responsible for the development and leadership of a team of learning professionals. Manages development and integration of human resource learning programs and field employees to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives. Assures operations and deliverables meet or exceed organizational objectives and integrates as appropriate with other field functions as well as corporate functions.
The Director of Field Associate Learning manages the learning and development demand planning cycle in conjunction with business requirements. The role oversees the design of HR training programs for field management and employees. This role ensures that deliverables meet or exceed individual objectives, adhere to HR and performance goals, and align with Lowe’s business strategies. To accomplish this, the Director of Field Associate Learning must have knowledge of Lowe’s business policies, strategies and operational environment.
