Job summary

Minnesota Hands & Voices, partnered with Lutheran Social Service MN, seeks a collaborative leader to oversee statewide programs supporting children who are deaf or hard of hearing and their families. The Director ensures access to trusted information, meaningful connections, and resources for long-term success.

The role leads program operations, partnerships, fundraising, and evaluative activities while fostering an inclusive, family-centered culture. Weekend/evening availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a parent of a child who is deaf or hard of hearing.
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of leadership/management experience.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Commitment to unbiased, inclusive, family-centered support.
• ASL and/or cued speech proficiency preferred.
• Schedule flexibility, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow Minnesota Hands & Voices and DHH Role Model programs.
• Supervise and develop a dedicated team while fostering collaboration.
• Oversee program operations, budgets, grants, contracts, quality outcomes, and evaluation activities.
• Build strong partnerships with families, community organizations, funders, referral partners, and stakeholders.
• Identify funding opportunities and support long-term program sustainability and growth.
• Represent the organization in community collaborations and initiatives.
