Job summary

Happy Hands Education Center seeks an Executive Director to provide visionary and spiritual leadership for Deaf and hard of hearing students in a biblically integrated, bilingual-bicultural setting prioritizing ASL alongside English. The ED will drive enrollment, awareness, and access to a premier Christian education for DHH children.

This role oversees educational programs, operations, and resource development, serving as the primary spokesperson and liaison to the Board of Directors to advance

Qualifications

• Faithful Christ-follower with church membership and faith statement agreement.
• Spiritual leadership gift and strong one-on-one people skills
• Experience governing 15+ employees preferred
• Knowledge of IDEA/ADA and Deaf education trends
• Fundraising planning and donor relations experience
• Office skills include word processing, accounting, communications
• Strong written, ASL and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee administrative operations and HR activities in alignment with board direction.
• Direct business & finance, budgeting, reporting, and policy management.
• Lead program development, curriculum oversight, and accreditation efforts.
• Foster community relations, fundraising, and donor engagement.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and partner contracts.
• Maintain safety, facilities, and vendor relationships.
• Serve as primary spokesperson for Happy Hands Education Center.
• Collaborate with Board to set strategic goals and monitor progress
