Applitrack seeks a Director of Finance and Business Services to oversee all district financial and business affairs. The role provides leadership for financial services, budget preparation, and investment management while acting as chief financial advisor to the superintendent and board.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, with extensive knowledge of school finance, budgeting, and accounting systems, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Ensure preparation and integrity of all district general accounting records and related financial reports.
• Develop long-range and short-term objectives for district's business operations and prepare the district budget.
• Act as financial advisor to the superintendent and board of trustees and keep them informed of the financial condition of the district.
• Maintain the district's investment portfolio and supervise investments to protect funds.
• Ensure all financial obligations (accounts payable, notes payable, bonded indebtedness, payroll) are met on time.
• Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard assets and improve efficiency.
• Oversee the auditing program and coordinate with independent and internal auditors.
• Administer the business office budget to ensure cost effectiveness and prudent fund management.
