Job summary

Citadel Healthcare is seeking a Director of Plant Operations to lead maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry oversight as needed. You will work closely with facility leadership to maintain the physical plant, equipment, grounds, and building systems while ensuring regulatory, safety, and operational standards are met.

The role requires supervising maintenance staff, coordinating inspections and safety programs, and managing budgets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel preferred.
• Healthcare facility maintenance knowledge preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, commercial, or industrial environments required.
• Associate degree or trade certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage maintenance department personnel.
• Coordinate with facility leadership regarding maintenance and operations.
• Assist with inspections and regulatory compliance.
• Perform seasonal grounds and snow removal as needed.
• Maintain and repair facility systems and equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with evacuations.
• Maintain records and service histories.
• Oversee housekeeping and laundry coordination as assigned.
