Citadel Healthcare is seeking a Director of Plant Operations to oversee the safety, maintenance, and environmental services for the facility. You will manage maintenance staff, coordinate with the Administrator, and lead inspections to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe, well-kept environment for residents and staff.

You will supervise the Environmental Services team, handle documentation, and manage budgets while maintaining essential systems such as fire alarms and nurse call devices.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance duties in a healthcare facility or industrial setting.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• High level of PC literacy.

Responsabilités

• Manages the department staff for maintenance duties; scheduling breaks, writing performance reviews, and enforcing policies with responsibility to issue Coaching and Corrective Action, as needed.
• Communicates with the Administrator to ensure equipment functioning, laundry and housekeeping services are performed timely.
• Organizes multiple tasks at the same time and prioritizes work.
• Leads facility inspection tours and meets with Village inspectors.
• Maintains and repairs fire alarm and nurse call systems; manages contracts within budget.
• Maintains accurate parts and tool inventories and submits capital expense requests for larger needs.
• Follows safety principles and performs other duties as assigned.
