Job summary

Volunteers of America Northern Rockies is seeking a Facilities Director to lead maintenance crews, oversee facilities, grounds, and vehicles to VOANR standards. The role includes approving work orders, managing the work order system, and coordinating facility projects.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, budget management, and safety program experience, with a background in maintenance or construction. This exempt, full-time position reports to the Vice President of Business Development.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• Four years of experience in maintenance, construction, or related fields.
• Associate degree (or higher) in a related field preferred.
• Five years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and participate in facility and vehicle maintenance.
• Establish schedules and methods for facility maintenance services.
• Provide leadership to the Facilities Maintenance crew to keep facilities/grounds high quality.
• Identify property and resource needs and allocate resources accordingly.
• Coordinate facility projects and safety efforts for the organization.
• Prepare and monitor the facility maintenance budget and cost estimates.
