Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee facility maintenance, safety, and grounds across our properties. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate repairs, and ensure REAC readiness and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state codes.

This role requires hands-on knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, heating, and HVAC systems, plus reliable after-hours coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience in building maintenance or equivalent.
• Able to communicate effectively and relate well to people with diverse backgrounds.
• Valid Colorado Driver License, insurance verification and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance and janitorial staff daily.
• Monitor third-party vendor contracts and review price quotes for parts, services, and labor.
• Coordinate vendors, orders, schedules, and ensure work is completed on time and to quality standards.
