Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Director of Facilities to lead strategy, capital planning, and risk management for 4,000+ retail locations. You will partner with Operations, Finance, Real Estate, Legal, and ESG to ensure safety, uptime, cost discipline, and brand consistency.

The role requires a strong background in multisite facilities leadership within fast-paced retail environments. The candidate will own the enterprise facilities strategy, capital planning, and vendor ecosystems,

Qualifications

• Experience leading facilities operations for a multi-site portfolio (1000+ locations)
• Proven ability to manage large capital budgets and complex asset projects
• Strong knowledge of building systems, compliance, and safety standards
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
• Proficient in data analytics to drive strategic decisions

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive a multi-year facilities strategy for asset life optimization and cost reduction
• Own annual OpEx/CapEx budgets and provide regular reports to senior leadership
• Lead a team across regions and manage 300+ vendor partnerships
• Oversee enterprise facilities risk, emergency planning, and continuity programs
• Champion technology, sustainability, and ESG goals in operations
• Use data to forecast trends, risks, and opportunities and tell a compelling story to leadership
