Qualifications

• Must understand boilers, compressors, generators and related mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with maintenance practices and related laws and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop and direct maintenance operations.
• Ensure facility is well-maintained, safe and comfortable.
• Staffing and scheduling of maintenance personnel.
• Inspect storage, work rooms and supply closets for upkeep.
• Supervise outside services per contracts and work orders.
• Establish and monitor a preventative maintenance program.
• Meet with maintenance staff and inter-department supervisors to address issues.
• Conduct daily rounds to ensure duties are performed and proper procedures followed.
• Maintain fire alarm and protection systems.
• Perform carpentry, building repairs, heating/cooling maintenance.
• Handle electrical and plumbing repairs within scope of expertise.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
