Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
• Supervisory experience overseeing maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise maintenance staff on safety procedures.
• Maintain equipment and parts inventories; keep records.
• Record types and costs of maintenance or repairs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep systems running smoothly.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and consult manuals for fixes.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, and fluid levels; replace filters as needed.
• Perform cleanup and organize work areas at day end.
