Job summary

Tri Care LLC is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the facility’s daily maintenance operations and safety programs. You will supervise staff, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the building remains in optimal condition and compliant with relevant codes.

Ideal candidates bring healthcare or long-term care experience and strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills to coordinate preventive maintenance and safety initiatives across all building systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade school or technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance supervisory experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local codes and regulations, including Department of Health.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and mechanical systems.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs for equipment and building systems.
• Coordinate and supervise outside vendors and contractors for facility-related projects.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and safety hazards.
• Maintain proper documentation of inspections, repairs, and maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with the Administrator and other department heads to address facility needs.
