Job summary

The Home Office Maintenance Director at Cedarhurst Senior Living in St. Louis, MO, leads maintenance for the corporate office and supports nearby communities. You will supervise staff, manage facilities, and ensure safety, reliability, and high standards across interior, exterior, and systems.

The role requires 2–5 years of related experience, hands-on carpentry/electrical/plumbing/HVAC skills, and familiarity with Life Safety and building management software. On-call after hours is expected.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of related maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Familiarity with Life Safety systems and emergency preparedness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff and manage janitorial equipment.
• Maintain building cleanliness including floors, windows, and furniture.
• Maintain grounds and liaise with landscaping contractor.
• Implement a preventative maintenance program for facility and equipment.
• Patching/painting walls, flooring replacements, lighting fixtures, and shelving as needed.
• Maintain fire safety records and SDS catalog.
• Inspect tenant suites for hazards and report updates.
• Document work orders and track tasks with building management software.
• Coordinate with tenants and vendors; respond to alarms and safety concerns.
• Be on-call after hours and weekends as needed.
