Under the direction of the VP of Management Operations, the Director of Facilities & Capital Management is responsible for protecting asset value, guiding capital decisions, and building the systems and processes that support facilities operations across a portfolio of 80+ properties.
This role serves as a centralized partner to Regional Managers, Lease-Up, Finance, Property Administration, and Compliance, ensuring that facilities-related work is structured, consistent, and effectively executed across the organization. In a fast-paced and evolving environment, this individual must bring clarity to ambiguity, create processes where none exist, and turn complex workflows into scalable systems.
The ideal Director of Facilities & Capital Management will take pride in the community and motivate others to do the same, through reducing unnecessary capital spend, decreasing vendor cost, creating portfolio-wide consistency, and effectively using internal construction services.
