The California State University, Office of the Chancellor seeks a Director, External Partnership Engagement to lead systemwide partnerships, advise the AVC-SE, and coordinate with campuses and industry partners.

The role develops and steward external relationships to support CSU's legislative, budgetary and workforce goals, and leads regional collaboration and the Rising Leaders Initiative.

Based in Sacramento with hybrid work—two days remote, three on-site at HQ.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree is required; master’s degree preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressively responsible related experience.
• Experience with multicultural, underserved and business communities and governmental agencies.
• Higher education experience is highly desirable.
• Progressive leadership roles in government, higher education, or community relations.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement systemwide strategies to engage external stakeholders for legislative and budget advocacy.
• Collaborate with Chancellor’s Office units and campus leaders to coordinate external engagement efforts.
• Lead the CSU Rising Leaders Initiative and regional industry partnerships; foster advocacy and partnerships.
