Job summary

The Peoria Civic Center, operated by Legends Global, seeks a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth through sponsorship sales, premium seating, and special events. You will build strategic partnerships with local businesses and community organizations to enhance visibility and profitability.

Qualifications

• Significant outside sales experience with a proven track record of profitable sales growth.
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management software preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred.
• Experience in convention center or event venue sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize sponsorship, advertising, and promotional opportunities across PCC assets.
• Generate sponsorship revenue for PCC events and activities.
• Develop, negotiate, prepare, and execute sponsorship agreements and proposals.
• Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective sponsors, delivering customized presentations and sponsorship packages.
• Lead and support negotiations with current and prospective venue sponsors while identifying and pursuing new revenue opportunities.
• Collaborate in the creation of sponsorship and premium seating sales materials and marketing collateral.
• Collaborate with Box Office Management to develop premium seating ticket distribution strategies and customer service processes.
• Monitor industry trends and identify growth opportunities to support business development efforts.
