Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Director, Business Information Security Officer (BISO) to lead security for major business units. You will shape security strategy, manage risk, and guide engineers, product leaders, and executives through architecture decisions in a hybrid work setup across NYC, SF, Denver, and more.

You will build risk buy-down plans, drive security posture improvements, and ensure compliance with frameworks and regulations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in cybersecurity engineering or IT risk
• Experience as BISO or senior security leader
• Knowledge of COSO, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP/SOX

Responsibilities

• Own the security relationship for assigned BU and represent security leadership
• Manage risk register, severity, prioritization, and risk acceptance decisions
• Lead design reviews, threat modeling, SDLC security patterns, and guardrails
• Deliver quarterly security posture reviews to CISO/CIO/Board audiences
• Coach and grow Security Partner Leads and set delivery cadence
• Leverage approved AI assistants to produce executive-quality analysis
