Job summary

Ro is seeking a Director, Compounding Operations to own compounding operations across its pharmacy network. This hands-on enterprise leadership role requires strong operational discipline, quality oversight, and regulatory judgment to scale sterile and non-sterile compounding while maintaining enterprise standards.

Based on-site in Romeoville, IL, with travel to other locations as needed, you will partner with Pharmacists-in-Charge and cross-functional teams to drive on-time delivery, inspection

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacy compounding operations, including sterile and non-sterile.
• Advanced working knowledge of USP standards and regulatory inspections.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience managing pharmacists and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end compounding operations across all sites with focus on quality and regulatory compliance.
• Standardize workflows, batch records, documentation, and training across sites.
• Monitor metrics (deviations, right-first-time, throughput) and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Compliance, Legal, and Product teams on initiatives and new products.
• Support hiring and development of compounding staff.
• Ensure equipment and facilities remain compliant and qualified.
