Roman Health Pharmacy LLC is seeking a Director of Compounding Operations to own all compounding activities across the network, ensuring quality, compliance, and scalable growth, with a hands-on leadership approach at the Illinois and Florida facilities.

The role requires 5+ years in compounding, 2+ years in leadership, deep USP knowledge, and collaboration with Quality, Compliance, Legal, Product, and Supply Chain. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacy compounding operations.
• Advanced working knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, and <800> and experience with inspections/audits.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience managing pharmacists or compounding teams.
• Hands-on expertise in sterile and nonsterile compounding environments and related workflows.
• Experience partnering with Quality and Compliance in a regulated healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end compounding operations across all sites with regulatory compliance.
• Serve as SME for USP <795>, <797>, and <800>, maintaining inspection readiness.
• Standardize compounding workflows, batch records, policies, and training.
• Oversee batch record review and verification across technicians, pharmacists, and QA.
• Lead deviation investigations and CAPAs with the Quality team.
