Job summary

Koppers Inc. in the United States seeks a Director, AI and Data Enablement to build and scale enterprise AI, data capabilities, and governance to drive measurable business impact.

You will partner with senior leaders to shape the AI agenda, lead an AI Center of Enablement, and drive adoption across platforms including Microsoft, ERP, CRM, and analytics, delivering tangible productivity gains and new value across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, CS, data science, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or asset-intensive industries preferred.
• Proficiency in AI adoption, data enablement, governance, and digital transformation.
• Experience driving adoption of AI across Microsoft, ERP, CRM, EHS, and analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with Azure AI, Copilot, Fabric, Power BI, SQL, Python.
• Strong program, stakeholder, and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI strategy, roadmap, governance, and operating model.
• Prioritize use cases across functions via intake and value assessments.
• Partner with senior leaders to align AI investments with business outcomes.
• Drive adoption of AI in existing enterprise platforms and processes.
• Establish an AI Center of Enablement to educate and govern use cases.
• Measure outcomes like productivity gains, cost savings, and quality improvements.
