Job summary
Honeywell Aerospace seeks an exceptional Director of Engineering to lead a talented team developing next-generation UAS and Advanced Air Mobility technologies. You will guide avionics, actuation, flight control, environmental control, propulsion and related products, directing cross-disciplinary teams and collaborating with customers to shape development plans.
You will drive Agile delivery, manage senior managers and engineers, and champion innovation across safety standards and system
Qualifications
- Bachelor of science or engineering with significant R&D/engineering experience.
- 15+ years of engineering/R&D experience with leadership roles.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to mentor teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop engineering teams across UAS and Advanced Air Mobility programs.
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to translate requirements into development plans.
- Drive Agile execution, improve R&D velocity, and manage resources across time zones.
- Balance workload and nurture high-performing teams delivering avionics, actuation, flight control, propulsion, and related technologies.
- Partner with technology strategists and marketing to identify growth areas and opportunities.
