Job summary

StandardAero, Inc. in Cincinnati seeks a Director of Engineering Repair Process Development to drive engineering policy, direct resources, and improve procedures for jet engine repair and overhaul while upholding quality.

You will lead strategic BU engineering activities, coordinate resources, and ensure training, performance measurement, and environmental programs align with corporate standards. The role requires extensive engineering leadership, a strong aviation background, and a focus on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of production, manufacturing or process engineering experience, ideally in jet engine components.
• 10+ years of supervisory experience in engineering design, manufacturing or production environment.
• MRO experience and strong knowledge of gas turbine engines and airworthiness requirements are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct strategic BU engineering activities and resources including supervision and training of personnel.
• Develop and recommend BU engineering policies and procedures aligned with objectives.
• Coordinate engineering resources for BU objectives and project support.
• Provide management review and control of engineering work across the BU.
• Support project planning, quality improvement, and performance measures.
