Job summary

StandardAero in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Production Engineer to provide engineering support for component repair, improvement programs, and development of repair schemes. You will work with OEMs, QA, and remanufacturing to optimize processes and ensure on-time delivery.

The role involves creating procedures, participating in MRB workflows, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive cost-effective repairs while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical, industrial, aerospace, or metallurgical engineering; or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Identify and establish improvement programs through root cause analysis and process optimization.
• Develop minor/major repairs in collaboration with OEMs and engineers.
• Own and update Rework Process Instructions and TODRs.
• Review scrap and log costs; manage stock for future repairs.
• Provide input to management on repair/process implementation.
• Execute MRB documentation, NCTs, TODRs, and TODRs revisions.
• Coordinate with remanufacturing services to resolve production problems.
• Implement new repairs/processes on schedule to meet objectives.
• Perform production capacity planning.
• Interpret technical drawings and generate repair data.
• Support development projects for new repairs and processes.
• Develop cost-benefit analyses and provide estimates for work packages.
