Job summary

FinOps Weekly is seeking a Director of Engineering Operations to partner with the CTO and leadership. You will architect the operating rhythm, drive data-informed decisions, and oversee major cross-functional programs to ensure high-velocity, high-quality delivery at scale.

You will champion AI-enabled tooling, optimize cloud costs, and advance governance across a 800-person SaaS organization. This is a strategic, high-visibility role with broad impact.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in Engineering Operations or related leadership in a high-growth SaaS.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, CI/CD, DevOps, and microservices.
• Advanced analytical skills and ability to translate data into executive narratives.
• Experience driving AI-related initiatives across engineering teams.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management across levels.

Responsibilities

• Architect theEngineering operating rhythm with QBRs, reviews, planning, and comms.
• Drive budgeting, headcount planning, and cloud cost optimization with FinOps.
• Own the Engineering Performance Dashboard and provide data-driven insights.
• Oversee major cross-functional programs ensuring alignment on scope and timelines.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration among Engineering, Product, Design and QA.
