Bonterra seeks a strategic engineering leader to build and scale the Corporate Giving domain, encompassing Deed, Grants, and disbursement platforms. You will own the roadmap, drive migration to a standalone service, and partner with product and enterprise clients to deliver at enterprise scale.

You will guide an engineering organization, ensure SOC 2 compliance, and balance architecture decisions with hands-on technical engagement.

Formación

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years in engineering leadership at director level or equivalent.
• Experience owning or co-owning a product roadmap with product leadership.
• Deep technical credibility to evaluate architecture and non-functional requirements.
• Familiarity with TypeScript/Node.js and AWS serverless infra.
• Experience with compliance programs at scale (SOC 2, PCI-DSS, or equivalent).
• AI-first mindset: uses AI coding tools and promotes spec-driven development.
• Strong communication skills with enterprise clients and senior leadership.
• Passion for empowering the social good sector through technology.

Responsabilidades

• Build and lead the Corporate Giving engineering organization, scaling from early-stage to full domain.
• Recruit, develop, and retain engineering talent; build strong management depth.
• Coach engineers on spec-driven development and AI-assisted delivery.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and hands-on coding 25% of time.
• Own the technical direction for Deed, Bonterra Grants, and legacy/new disbursement platforms.
• Own Deed’s product roadmap with Product leadership and drive prioritization.
• Lead migration to the standalone disbursement service with enterprise continuity.
• Ensure SOC 2 compliance; coordinate with InfoSec/GRC for audit readiness.
• Define goals, metrics, and ensure delivery commitments across the domain.
• Collaborate with Product, Success, and clients on roadmap direction.
