Job summary

Advanced Technology Systems Company seeks a Director of Engineering to lead the C5ISR technology programs and deliver sensor integration, secure networks, and C2 solutions for border surveillance. You will guide R&D, interact with customers, and align goals with business outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong leadership, experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, and collaboration with manufacturing and supply chain to meet contract objectives and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or relevant technical discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant product development experience (Military products preferred).
• PMP certification preferred.
• Sensor Integration.
• Earned Value Management experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Ability to implement departmental strategic goals and monitor progress.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Experience directing programs with manufacturing and supply chain.
• Understanding of quality systems and agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute programs in the C5ISR technology area with technical and project leadership.
• Lead engagements with customer organizations and government labs to establish joint projects.
• Staff programs with qualified resources and propose innovative solutions to meet objectives.
• Develop proposals, baselines, and align teams to win contracts.
• Oversee workforce development, training, and hiring strategies.
• Communicate effectively across teams and senior management to ensure outcomes.
• Delegate tasks and ensure adherence to budgets and schedules.
