Job summary

Advanced Technology Systems Company (ATSC) seeks a Director of Engineering for Counter Drones and Border Surveillance, based in Sunrise/Gilbert, AZ. You will lead the C5ISR technology programs, manage a multidisciplinary engineering team, and collaborate with customers and government partners to deliver cutting-edge defense solutions.

The role requires 10+ years in product development, strong leadership, PMP or EVM familiarity, and a proven ability to align technical work with program goals

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product development or engineering leadership (military preferred).
• Experience leading C5ISR and defense programs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of C5ISR programs and provide technical and project leadership.
• Engage with customer organizations and gov labs; coordinate with BD.
• Staff programs with qualified resources and develop cost/schedule/technical baselines.
• Oversee workforce development, hiring and performance.
• Show strong leadership and cross-team communication.
• Maintain relationships with business units and partners.
• Foster trust and cost-effective teamwork.
• Clarify assignments, priorities and follow-up.
• Communicate across functional teams to align outcomes.
• Delegate tasks to team members.
