Job summary

Seven Seas Water seeks an engineering leader to run the engineering department, set priorities, and mentor a team within the wastewater/municipal space. You will represent technical expertise to customers during business development, shaping estimates and preliminary designs for projects.

Collaborate with Project Management and Construction to standardize designs, accelerating plant delivery. Requires strong design discipline and people leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, environmental, civil engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years in engineering with real time wastewater or municipal project experience.
• 5 years managing engineers, on a project or department level.
• Texas PE license, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Deep fluency in municipal water and wastewater processes; working knowledge of mechanical, process, electrical, and I&C disciplines.
• Comfort owning the full design document set (mass balance, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment arrangements) and the document control discipline.
• A PMP is a plus, not a requirement.

What you'll own

You'll run the day-to-day of the engineering department: setting priorities, managing the team's workload, and making sure every drawing and document that goes out the door is right the first time. You'll be a technical voice in front of customers during business development, building the estimates and preliminary designs that win projects. You'll work closely with Project Management and Construction to standardize our designs, so plants get built faster and cleaner. This isn't a hands-off management job. We need someone who still knows the work well enough to jump in, make the tough call, and mentor a team that respects the decision.
