Unknown is a growth-stage edtech company focused on school scheduling. The role leads multiple product engineering squads and reports to the CTO. You will drive technical direction and ensure delivery of AI-powered features in collaboration with product.

We seek 5+ years in engineering with 3+ in management, with expertise in TS or Python, React, AWS, and MongoDB. This is a fully remote US role with travel for retreats and visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience and 3+ years of management experience.
• Expertise in TypeScript or Python, React, AWS, and MongoDB.
• Proven ability to scale teams and connect tech decisions to business outcomes.

• Lead engineers and managers, driving delivery and technical direction.
• Stay hands-on with code, reviews, and pairing before shifting to leadership.
