Job summary

STACK Infrastructure is seeking a Director, Electric Utilities in Denver to lead load interconnection efforts for data center projects. You will manage utility relationships, review contracts, and help the development team with transmission strategies, budgets, and regulatory advocacy.

The role requires a strong energy-sector background, excellent communication, and the ability to translate complex technical issues for non-technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
• 10+ years experience in the energy space (utility, consulting, renewable energy, etc).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the load-interconnection process and serve as primary contact with the utility for data center projects.
• Own and manage utility relationships and foster collaboration.
• Document the utility load interconnection process including financial commitments and timelines.
• Review utility contracts related to the project.
