Job summary

Tract is seeking a results-oriented Director of Utility Development to lead power delivery strategy across assigned markets. You will own interconnection, permitting, and infrastructure delivery for large-scale data center campuses, coordinating with utilities, regulators, and engineering partners.

Based in Denver with travel to project sites, you will manage multi-million-dollar capex, report progress to VPs, and align with Tract's Land Strategy, Engineering, and Regulatory teams to advance

Qualifications

• 7–10 years delivering technical infrastructure and utility contracting.
• Experience with HV/MV infrastructure (69 kV+).
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar capex projects.

Responsibilities

• Own long-term execution of power development strategy in assigned state markets.
• Lead engagement with electric utilities to develop HV/MV infrastructure for data center campuses.
• Manage interconnection processes, utility studies, and regulatory engagement at state level.
• Oversee siting and construction coordination of transmission, substation, and distribution infrastructure across campus developments.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget of multi-million-dollar capex projects across sites.
• Coordinate with Land Strategy, Engineering, Environmental, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to advance milestones.
