Job summary

STACK Infrastructure seeks a Sr. Director of Utilities to own end-to-end procurement strategy for utility infrastructure and critical power equipment supporting hyperscale data center growth.

Lead supplier relationships, contract support, and risk management across high, medium, and low-voltage systems. This role demands 15+ years in electrical/utility construction, EPC fluency, and a proven ability to build and mentor teams in a fast-paced, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Technical depth: 15+ years in electrical systems, utility infrastructure, or mission-critical construction with MV/HV equipment up to 765kV.
• Commercial market savvy: understand macro market constraints and scalable procurement strategies.
• EPC/Construction fluency: deep understanding of construction phasing, interconnection, on-site integration.
• Leadership maturity: proven track record of leading teams cross-functionally in fast-paced growth.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical market strategist for high, medium, and low-voltage equipment markets.
• Develop and execute proactive supply chain strategies to secure capacity and manage lead times.
• Champion continuous improvement of procurement and deployment processes.
• Partner with Engineering, Pre-Construction, Operations and external stakeholders for seamless delivery.
• Bridge commercial negotiations with technical requirements and market strategy.
