Southern Methodist University is seeking a Director for Employer Relations to lead the Hegi Center’s recruiting efforts, design engagement strategies and strengthen connections with employers. This on-campus role partners with the Assistant Provost and directors to drive on-campus recruiting success and program excellence, while managing day-to-day operations and staff.

The position oversees events, data tracking, vendor coordination, and involves occasional evening/weekend work and local travel

Qualifikationen

• Master’s is required.
• Seven years of work experience in career development, recruiting, HR, or related fields.
• Three years of supervisory or management experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead planning, logistics, marketing, execution and assessment of employer events/programs.
• Partner with leadership to develop and execute departmental strategy.
• Direct staff during event planning/marketing/execution and track OCR data.
• Serve as ERT liaison and university point of contact for employer relations activities.
• Oversee program management for career fairs and internship programs.
