Responsibilities include coordinating large-scale career events, collaborating with colleges and industry partners, and managing the 12Twenty system while reporting on placement data. Requires a Master’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience; event management is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• 3 years of experience in a college career center, business/corporate or employer relations, marketing/external relations, or university advancement/development setting is required.
• Event management experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills across diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Increase employment opportunities for SMU students and recent alumni.
• Coordinate outreach programs to faculty and employers to connect students with internships and employment opportunities.
• Plan and coordinate large-scale career events and programs.
• Manage 12Twenty database and generate routine data reports on employer recruiting activity and student placement.
• Liaise with employers, alumni, and academic colleges to build programs and partnerships.
