Job summary

Ivy Tech Evansville is seeking a Director of Employer Engagement to lead workforce training initiatives and build strong business and industry partnerships that align with college readiness programs. You will serve as a strategic partner to create employer-driven training, placement, and enrollment pathways across campus.

Collaborating with campus leaders, you will develop data-driven metrics, coordinate apprenticeship and work-and-learn programs, and supervise staff and adjunct faculty.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• A minimum of three (3) years related experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Must be able and willing to travel to campuses and professional development activities.
• Ability to work within an entrepreneurial framework and scale a large project.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partners with campus leadership to develop employer outreach strategy and training metrics.
• Build and maintain partnerships with area employers for workforce programs.
• Coordinate marketing, enrollment, data management and program design.
• Collaborate with faculty to implement credit and non-credit programs aligned with high-demand occupations.
• Represent the college at local business organizations and provide consulting to employers.
• Oversee program proposals and grant applications, ensuring compliance.
• Supervise staff and adjunct faculty.
