Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher with related coursework; 18 credits in related field preferred.
• 3+ years industry experience.
• 5+ years teaching experience.
• Meets ASOM 7.1 credentials for at least one program overseen.
• Ongoing professional development and currency in field.
• Supervision and leadership demonstrated.
• Industry experience may substitute for certain years of teaching/industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead with Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs to support mission and strategic planning.
• Plan curriculum development and resource prioritization within the division.
• Promote program improvement and ensure alignment with workforce needs and student success.
• Coordinate enrollment management and recruitment activities.
• Develop and manage school budget and funding allocations.
• Recruit, supervise, and evaluate faculty; assign classes and workloads.
• Advise students and monitor progress toward success; resolve issues.
• Participate in committees and professional associations; build external partnerships.

Education

Master’s degree required, preferably in a related field OR a Master’s degree in any field with 18 credit hours in a related field.

Minimum 3 years applicable industry experience

Minimum five years related teaching experience

Meets faculty credentials per ASOM 7.1 for at least one program within the division for which oversight is assigned

Evidence of ongoing professional development and maintaining currency in the field

Demonstrated competency in supervision and leadership

A combination of industry with teaching/training experience may be considered in lieu of specific years’ experience noted above
