Job summary

Comcast is seeking an experienced Employee Relations leader to guide policy development and ensure legal compliance. This role partners with senior leadership to enhance engagement and workplace culture, driving effective investigations and strategic ER initiatives.

The position requires overseeing HR policy updates, managing complex employee issues, and training on grievance processes, with a commitment to inclusivity and fair resolution across the organization.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in HR roles.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience leading employee relations and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the update and refinement of HR policies in accordance with evolving legislation and internal changes
• Lead the oversight of internal investigations into discrimination, harassment, and employee disputes, ensuring fair resolution
• Direct the development and implementation of Employee Relations strategies, policies, and programs to support organizational objectives
• Design training and communication materials to educate staff on workplace expectations and the grievance process
• Champion a respectful work environment by modeling desired behaviors and consistently applying HR policies
• Managing compliance with employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and Title VII, through thorough investigations and resolutions
• Facilitating sensitive counseling sessions on EEO, ADA, performance issues, and terminations, providing expert guidance
• Conducting employee engagement initiatives, such as focus groups and surveys, to gather feedback and drive satisfaction
• Collaborating with senior leadership to develop and implement action plans based on employee feedback, enhancing workplace relations
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
