Job summary

Medical Edge in Austin seeks a Director of Emergency Services to lead a large, established emergency care program within our acute care hospital system. This is a full-time daytime leadership role with executive oversight of operations, staffing, quality, patient experience, and financial performance.

You will partner with physicians and nurses, oversee multi-facility operations, and drive clinical and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years in a leadership role in emergency services.
• Proven ED director experience.
• Track record of improving clinical, operational, staffing or financial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of Emergency Services operations, staffing, quality, patient experience, and financial performance.
• Lead a multifacility emergency care program within an acute care hospital system.
• Partner with physician and nursing leadership to drive improvements.
• Support internal leadership development and succession planning.
• Oversee day-to-day clinical and operational performance.
