BKV Group in Dallas, TX is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering (PE licensed) to lead the local electrical engineering practice, direct multidisciplinary project delivery, and mentor staff in the built environment.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will sign and seal deliverables, establish electrical standards, guide business development, and oversee budgets while collaborating with Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, and Project Management teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 10–15 years of progressive electrical engineering design and leadership experience.
• Expert knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and Energy Codes (ASHRAE/IECC).
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing project budgets.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Senior Electrical Engineer on projects and sign/seal deliverables.
• Coordinate with Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, Interior Design, and Project Management leaders.
• Manage workloads, scheduling, and budgets for local electrical staff.
• Mentor staff and participate in workforce planning and reviews.
• Develop and refine discipline design details, QA/QC procedures, and electrical standards.
• Support proposal development, fee estimations, and client presentations.
