MiraVista Behavioral Health Center in Holyoke, MA is seeking a Director of Education to lead the hospital's education strategy, align programs with regulatory requirements, and promote a culture of continuous learning across clinical and non-clinical staff.

You will develop annual education plans, oversee onboarding, design and evaluate training on crisis intervention, HIPAA compliance, and other standards; ensure licensure, maintain documentation, and guide a team of educators and trainers.

Qualificações

• Master’s Degree in Nursing; Doctorate preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in behavioral health with at least 3 in education/leadership.
• Active state nursing licensure; CPR/CPI certifications a plus.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Curriculum development and diverse teaching methods proficiency.
• Proficient with LMS and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage the hospital’s annual education plan.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for all new hires.
• Design, implement, and evaluate ongoing training for clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs.
• Ensure staff licensure and certifications are current.
• Oversee training documentation per accrediting bodies.
• Monitor program effectiveness and drive improvement.
• Supervise education staff and external trainers.
• Participate in QAPI activities related to training.
• Stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes.
