Job summary

MiraVista Behavioral Health Center in Holyoke, MA seeks a Director of Education to lead the hospital’s educational strategy, training programs, and regulatory compliance. You will partner with leadership and clinical teams to ensure staff are trained to the highest standards and that learning initiatives drive patient care excellence.

The role requires a Master’s in Nursing (Doctorate preferred), 5+ years in behavioral health with 3+ in education or leadership, and an active nursing license.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Nursing required; Doctorate preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in behavioral health, with at least 3 in education/leadership.
• Active state nursing licensure required; CPR, CPI or crisis certs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee annual education plan and onboarding for all staff.
• Design, implement, and evaluate training programs for clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Ensure licensure and certifications remain current; manage continuing education and in-service programs.
• Maintain training records per accrediting and licensing bodies; oversee QA/QI in education.
