Job summary

Presbyterian Homes & Services in Minnesota seeks a Director of Clinical Education to oversee clinical education programs, partner with academic institutions, and align educational initiatives with regulatory requirements. You will lead a team of Clinical Educators and ensure staff are certified and proficient in delivering high-quality resident care.

Reporting to the Vice President of Clinical Services, you will design curricula, manage Relias LMS, and drive annual strategic planning using QA/QI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Adult Education, Health Care Administration, or Nursing; Master's preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure required.
• 5-7 years of clinical leadership experience.
• 3-5 years of experience with clinical education or curriculum development.
• Experience with accreditation processes.
• Experience with technology-based instruction.
• Ability to travel to Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other common programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage clinical education programs aligned with PHS goals.
• Needs analysis with leaders and development of curriculum and delivery systems.
• Ensure programs meet accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with academic institutions for quality clinical placements.
• Lead development of curriculum, teaching materials, and assessment tools.
• Lead annual clinical planning using QA/QI, KRA, and VA outcomes.
• Manage the learning management system (Relias) and training technologies.
• Coordinate train-the-trainer sessions as appropriate.
• Hire, train, lead, and evaluate the team of Clinical Educators, including HR tasks.
• Support integration of Christian culture through education systems and stewardship.
