HeartShare seeks a Director of Education to lead high-quality educational services for preschoolers with special needs. You will supervise staff, implement policy, and ensure safety and compliance across classrooms.

Responsibilities include curriculum oversight, PBIS implementation, staff development, family engagement, and building safety. You will report to the Senior Vice President of Education and drive inclusive, developmentally appropriate instruction for ages under six.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or related field as defined by Article 47.
• Advanced Credentials in School Building Leadership (SAS/SBL) required.
• New York State Certified Early Childhood Teacher or related field per Article 47.
• Minimum 2 years in Preschool Special Education with under-6 students.
• Experience implementing PBIS and developmentally appropriate curricula.

Responsabilités

• Supervise teachers, assistants, and aides with annual evaluations.
• Oversee curriculum implementation to meet individual needs.
• Lead staff development and training initiatives.
• Ensure PBIS, safety, and classroom management procedures.
• Foster parent involvement and community engagement.
