Job summary

Colorado In Motion seeks an Associate Director of Instructional Media and Technology to drive strategy and oversee the EdTech ecosystem supporting hybrid and online learning. You will lead an EdTech team in collaboration with LDT, Learning Designers, and University Partners to deliver scalable tools and templates that elevate curriculum development and user experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 6–8 years of relevant experience for Associate Director; 8–12 years for Director.
• Knowledge of product development lifecycles and solution implementation in educational environments.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating technologies against organizational goals.
• Demonstrated experience in web development (HTML, CSS/SCSS); EdTech system administration; UI/UX design for educational platforms; multimedia development.
• Proven strategic thinking with road-mapping and implementation experience.
• Experience evaluating and applying AI and emerging technologies in educational or content-development contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of EIM’s educational technology ecosystem and roadmap.
• Set the EdTech vision and metrics to evaluate effectiveness and guide investment decisions.
• Build LDT team capability in instructional media and technology; foster an innovative culture.
• Identify needs and determine technology solutions to improve learning experiences and curriculum quality at scale.
• Apply product-management principles to the EdTech portfolio including discovery, prioritization, roadmap, adoption, and lifecycle management.
• Champion policies (AI and accessibility) and translate them into the edtech stack and training.
