Job description

Location: Remote (Utah preferred) Compensation: Competitive Base + performance-based bonuses

This role is for a hands‑on ecommerce operator who knows how to drive revenue—not manage it.

About ASHER

ASHER is a premium golf glove and apparel brand built on performance and style. We are building a modern DTC engine and need someone who can own it, operate it, and scale it.

The Role

We are hiring a Director of E-commerce to fully own our direct‑to‑consumer business.

This is not a management role—it’s an operator role. You are responsible for how the business performs, end to end. You understand how to pull levers across paid media, site experience, and retention to drive real revenue.

You should be equally comfortable inside Meta Ads Manager, Shopify, and Klaviyo—not overseeing them, but running them and ready to execute, as well as manage others on the team.

What You Own
  • Revenue You own the number. You drive growth across conversion rate, AOV, retention, and efficiency. You know where to look, what to fix, and how to prioritize.
  • Content You’ve been told you have a keen eye for design and content and obsess over the details. This will allow you to lead and contribute to content shoots and overall branding activities.
  • Paid Media (Meta) You are an expert in Meta and can lead our performance media team and retain accountability. Campaign structure, creative testing, scaling, and efficiency are second nature. You know how to turn creative into performance—and this expertise will position you to build and lead a high‑performing paid media function as we scale.
  • Site & Conversion (Shopify) You own the site. Merchandising, PDPs, UX, CRO, product setup—everything that impacts conversion. You move fast and fix what’s broken.
  • Lifecycle (Klaviyo) You own retention. Flows, campaigns, segmentation—you know how to drive repeat purchases and build LTV.
  • Tech Stack You understand the full ecommerce stack—apps, attribution, analytics, integrations—and how it all connects. You keep it clean, efficient, and scalable.
  • Execution You get things done. Launches go out clean. Campaigns are tight. Nothing slips.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven operator who has significantly contributed, owned or grown a DTC ecommerce business
  • Deep, hands‑on expertise in Meta, Shopify, Klaviyo, and ecommerce systems
  • Strong understanding of e‑commerce metrics and how to move them
  • A sharp eye for style, design, fashion trends and presentation—someone who obsesses over details and cares how things look and feel
  • Ability to balance brand and performance without compromising either
  • Fast, decisive, and accountable
  • Golfer is not required, but a strong bonus
Who You Are

You don’t need a team to start. You don’t wait for direction. You see problems, fix them, and move on. You have strong taste. You notice details others miss. You care about how the product is presented just as much as how it performs. You care about outcomes, not activity. You know what good looks like—and you know how to get there.
